This remarkable Andalusian stallion was first noticed by the Jefatura de Cria Caballar when they toured the U.S.A. for the first inspection of pure Spanish Horses in 1996.

From his conformation and correct movement the Commission determined that Prestigio was worthy of the title, Breeding Stallion, a title reserved for approximately one out of 50 Pura Raza Espanola colts born in Spain.

Bred for the first time at age 4 to a part Andalusian mare, the stallion produced a bay filly which confirmed that he was heterozygous

grey with a recessive color gene.

His first purebred foals, Pacificador and Marioneta ECV, were born in 1999 on our farm on Camano Isand.

Following his IALHA National Champion titles in October 1999, Prestigio booked a number of registered Cria Cabballar approved PRE mares for year 2000.

This Spring, Prestigio produced a purebred bay colt out of our grey mare from Costa Rica, Filigrana (Pinturero X x Jota) and a grey colt by Hidalga (Jugueton V x Banbury Porsche).

In past seasons Prestigio has attained a very high rate of pregnancy on the first shipment throughout the USA and Canada. We offer a LFG.

His get are now an even split between fillies and colts. Prestigio is standing in California where he is ably handled for live breedings and collection by his experienced trainers, Sue Burkman and Tammy Bowles.

STUD FEE:

Prestigio's stud fee for the 2006 breeding season is $2500 purebreds, $1500 all others. A $500 deposit (non-refundable booking fee) is due at the time of booking. The balance of the stud fee is due at the time of the breeding.

Shipped cooled semen is available on request for all breeds of mares.
